Abby is a scientist and marine mammal veterinarian. She holds a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (D.V.M.) from Iowa State University and a Master of Public Health (MPH) from the University of Iowa (Epidemiology). Outside of clinical medicine, Abby is interested in research methods and techniques for evidence-based approaches to enhance precision medicine for marine mammals and translational medicine, including bioinformatics, biostatistics, and epidemiology.
