A public health graduate student in SDSU’s MS Environmental Health Sciences program, Sylvia is committed to two research initiatives at Boz: the effects of pollutants of concern on animal (zebrafish) embryo development, and the utility of microbial communities on wastewater treatment.  Sylvia is also an artist who looks for opportunities to merge scientific and artistic expression.
