Summer 2027 Croatia Science & Culture Program

Explore life beneath the sea and build connections that span the globe

Why Join?

  • Conduct marine molecular ecology research with expert scientists

  • Join a global science community and form lasting international connections.

Who Can Apply?

  • High school and college students (no lab experience required).
  • Students in good academic standing with a passion for marine science and ecology.
  • Intermediate swimmers comfortable in open water.
  • U.S. applicants (valid passport required).
Selection is based on: academic performance, recommendation letters, essay content, and an interview with Boz Research Institute staff.

Applications
Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis and will be accepted until the program is full.

If there is enough interest, we may add a second session. If the first session fills, we will open a waitlist and contact waitlisted students if space becomes available or if a second session is confirmed.

Program Fee: $9,500

Beyond the Summer

Participants may continue their research virtually, contributing to bioinformatics and biostatistics data analysis, and potentially co-authoring a peer-reviewed scientific publication.
